Hello,

The car is a 2012 Audi A4 2.0T SE with only 39,600 km on the clock. The car has been fully serviced and the motor plan finished in May.I have searched the forum and seen some issues with oil leaks with these engines, but I cannot find any similar issues.Does anyone know if this is a common problem with these engines? Could it be caused by the oil leak issue? It seems to me that such a catastrophic engine failure on an engine with such low mileage, would be a manufacturing fault and therefore would be something a responsible manufacturer would take of but as it is out of the maintenance plan it seems that the Audi will not assist.

Any help will be apprecited.
